I first came across Ramp Champ from Iconfactory and dsMediaLabs when I stumbled on the Official Ramp Champ promo page. I was immediately drawn in by the look and feel of the art assets. I wasn’t entirely sure what the game was all about, but it was clear the Ramp Champ developers had taken the time to craft a polished game.
Ramp Champ Game Play

The name, “Ramp Champ”, comes from the fact that the game is basically skeeball – which uses a ramp. For those unfamiliar with skeeball, it is a classic carnival game whereby the player rolls balls up a ramp in hopes of knocking over various targets. The more targets the player successfully knocks over, the more tickets the player is awarded. These tickets can then be used to purchase ‘prizes’.
Ramp Champ Graphics

The Ramp Champ graphics are stellar. Iconfactory and dsMediaLabs really took the time to create a professional looking game that is true to the classic arcade style from days gone past. You may actually feel as though you are at a carnival when you play Ramp Champ.
Ramp Champ Sound

The sound quality of Ramp Champ is nearly on par with the graphics. Again, the developers took the time to create a polished, authentic experience that leaves the user immersed in a true carnival experience.
Ramp Champ Extras

Ramp Champ is set up so you are given four ramps on which to play. Each ramp has three goals you can work to achieve. Beyond that you are asked to purchase more ramps. While this may seem like a nickle and dime tactic, the overall quality of the game play leaves me feeling as though I am clearly getting my money’s worth from the initial purchase and that I would have no problem paying for more ramps.
